4. Layer-2

 

Let's solve the Layer-2.

1. We have solved the White face of the cube till now. Turn the cube upside down to solve the remaining cube.

2.  We have to use two symmetric algorithms in solve the second layer. These algorithms insert the Up-Front edge piece from the top layer to the middle layer.

3. Select the piece in the top layer which is to be moved to the middle layer and apply Right Algorithm if the piece in the top layer is to be moved to the right hand side of the middle layer and Left Algorithm if the piece is to be moved to the left hand side of the middle layer.

Right Algorithm :  U R U' R' U' F' U F

Left Algorithm : U' L' U L U F U' F'

4. Repeat Step (3) until the Second layer is solved.
